At the inaugural Season of Bigg Boss 10, during an interaction with Deepika Padukone, Salman Khan pointed to a picture of Sanjay Leela Bhansali and addressed him as Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. However, he quickly corrected himself.

International awards event took place in Spain in June,Salman and Rakeysh apparently had a violent fight. An eyewitness quoted to the daily, “Salman and Rakeysh fought over some issue. The argument became heated and soon turned ugly. So much so that the two had to be separated by mutual friends."
